Costa Daurada
Baix Camp, town by town.
Cambrils and Miami Platja are seasonal estates with a lot of foreign ownership, and behind them the hills, with isolated houses and track access.
Regular visits, a protocol inspection and a photo report in every town of the comarca. From €69/month, no lock-in.
Towns in this comarca (4 towns)
Each has its own page, with what gets watched there in particular.
- Cambrils→Between the harbour, Vilafortuny and the beach estates there is an enormous stock of seasonal homes. Pools, gardens and closed flats in the same municipality, with salt working on all of them.
- Mont-roig del Camp→Miami Platja is a cluster of estates with heavy foreign ownership, used in spring and autumn. Houses with pools closed half the year and plots where the vegetation never stops.
- Pratdip→Inland and hilly, with scattered estates and houses surrounded by woodland. Track access, water tanks and firebreak strips: isolated-house maintenance, with the village far off.
- Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant→L'Hospitalet de l'Infant and L'Almadrava are seasonal homes right by the beach. Salt, sand and buildings that empty in September, with owners hours away.
What repeats across this comarca
The features that come up most across its towns, and what we do about each one.
Scattered estate
With no permanent neighbour nearby, there is nobody to raise the alarm. The scheduled round is literally the only way anything gets noticed.
Empty all winter
Months with the house shut and the blinds down. Dry traps, damp and stale air are the guaranteed result if nobody goes in to air it.
Flat in a shared building
Shared stacks and a management company that does not look at your door. What counts here is going in, running the water, airing the place and recording it.
Salt air
Salt seizes blind runners, hinges and locks. We check them, grease them, and tell you when a window will not take another winter.
Pool
Level, filtration, cover and winterising. A pool left standing for six months is the most expensive and most avoidable fault a second home has.
Mooring or canal
Canal wall, a garage below sea level and sometimes a moored boat. It is a different inspection from any other house.
